Abstract
A novel lithium salt, cyclobutane-1,1-dicarboxylic lithium was synthesized and characterized by NMR, IR, ESI-MS, X-ray single crystal analysis, and TG/DTG (TGA) thermal analysis. The crystal structure information reveals the coordination polymer nature and ESI-MS shows its aggregation behavior in aqueous solution. TGA analysis discloses the CO2 release with respect to temperature rise.
