An effective method based on the regularization technique to solve the problem of the high-frequency electromagnetic field coupling to an overhead transmission line is presented. The integral-differential equation describing the field-induced current into a line of finite length, is solved by expressing the unknown by means of the Fourier series. The Landweber iterative method is then used to determine the series coefficients. The proposed method is tested taking as reference numerical results obtained using the numerical electromagnetics code (NEC). The obtained results using the proposed approach are found to be in excellent agreement with those obtained using NEC.
