Matter

One of the guiding principles in photochemical reaction design is that absorptivity is proportionate to reactivity. However, recent works have challenged this assumption. Utrosa and coworkers demonstrate that photoacids and photobases exhibit absorptivity- reactivity mismatches, which have broad implications in fields from catalysis to additive manufacturing.
