Autothermal production of hydrogen from toluene under dynamic conditions
1999
Process/system engineering
Hydrogen prodn. from toluene by steam reforming, partial oxidn. and autothermal reforming was studied by step-response method in a tubular fixed-bed reactor, at temps. between 550 Deg-700 Deg. Nickel in the form of a wire grid is a valuable catalyst, whereas an addn. of palladium acts as a promoter for water formation. [on SciFinder (R)]
