Post Occupancy Evaluation, Case Studies : Rolex Learning Center
The Rolex Learning Center opened in 2010. Where do we stand 8 years after ? Students are given the floor to express their feedback on the building and the library spaces. EPFL Library was mandated to propose user spaces improvements for the building : librarians assessed the building use, explored students’ needs and present their findings. Librarians then highlight the prior needs and present their main propositions, related to furniture, spaces redesign, additional equipment and facilities in the building. They also examine the consequences for the Library to be in the Rolex Learning Center, outside and within the institution.
