High-permittivity elastomers were made by grafting sulfolane groups onto polysiloxane. Tuned polarity, thin films, and UV cross-linking yielded DEAs with 7.2% lateral strain at 14 V μm−1, enabling reliable low-voltage soft stack actuators.
