Electromagnetic Keyboard/Mouse Switch Profile Tuning

Jeanmonod, K.
2020

While keyboards & mice have been around for a very long time, they are not all created equal. A good keyboard can increase your typing speed and decrease your error rate. In the gaming world, a good gaming keyboard can truly elevate your game, improve your skills and un-arguably enhance your gaming experience & fun. In addition, of course, the same can be said for mice. This project aims at dynamically changing the Force/Travel characteristics of the switches. Ideally, the behavior could be fine-tuned by the user. The main focus of this development should be around high accuracy customization of the Force / Travel curve, through the use of an electromagnetic actuator.
