Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO)/Quantum Electronics and Laser Science Conference (QELS)

We demonstrate that lithium niobate nanowires generate electric fields under 514 nm continuous wave laser illumination. Birefringent media are used to visualize the generated fields in a microfluidic channel. Input laser polarization dependence is shown. (C) 2010 Optical Society of America
