The electrochemical hypochlorination of allyl chloride in dilute hydrochloric acid solution
The electrochem. hypochlorination of allyl chloride [107-05-1] was studied. The reaction is best effected using 1-1.5N HCl as the electrolyte, introducing allyl chloride as an emulsion and working at low c.d. (<150 mA/cm2). [on SciFinder (R)]
