Implantable Neuro-Modulation Devices and Technology

Schmid, Alexandre
January 1, 2021
2021 Silicon Nanoelectronics Workshop (Snw)
26th Silicon Nanoelectronics Workshop

Implantable electronic medical devices that operate in closed-loop allow efficient neuro-modulation. Area and power are to be carefully balanced to improve the system autonomy and safety. New digital modulation schemes with implementation in the front-end signal acquisition such as Hadamard encoding and compressed sensing aim at efficiency improvement in multi-channel neural recorders.
