This presentation draws from the IPCC's special report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5° the new global carbon budget and what it implies in terms of CO2-mitigation pathways. It then compares Switzerland's past mitigation performance with these implications and reports on simulated deep decarbonisation pathways.
