An important parameter for the economy of a photovoltaic plant is the coefficient of generated power to needed surface. An analysis of this relationship is done for different solar plants and losses generated by the transmission within such a plant are calculated. Finally a step-up DC-DC converter (non-isolated) is introduced which could improve the efficiency of the energy collection.
