Sensitivity Analyis of Visual and Thermal Parameters for Energy Savings: systems variation

The aim of this project is to investigate the benefit of thermally active building or home automation as well as the combination of various settings for visual and thermal parameters. While guarantying the users’ thermal comfort and his expectations in terms of illuminance, we will study the interactions between those parameters and how they could impact the final energy consumption. The innovation brought here lies in the integration of all environmental controls on the opposite of standards that set targeted values based on the influence of each parameter individually. Exploring current legislation, the varying parameters and their respective range will be discussed. A comparison between two heating systems is conducted.
