This contribution reports about the design and development of an open and flexible framework called DLR Traffic Data Platform (TD-Platform) that is able to process most well known traffic data like (X)FCD, loop detector and traffic video data and fuse them into a common integrated traffic state of the system under surveillance. The TD-Platform is currently built as a service-oriented architecture (SOA), which allows a simple integration of new services based on the provided traffic data into its core services module. Using an open and flexible API for services integration, new data sources and applications can be added easily to the TD-Platform.
