Our exposure to light has a key role in regulating our biological clock through a dedicated photoreceptor present in the human eye. Increased awareness to its criticality when it comes to human well-being is urgently needed, as this criticality is potentially greatest in dense urban environments, though it effectively applies to any inhabitable area in the world.
