Metamaterial-enabled localization of electrostatic discharges using time reversal

Protection against electrostatic discharges requires knowledge of the discharge-current path. Thanks to the time-reversal technique combined with a GHz-range resonant metalens, we present an experimental gateway to imaging subwavelength interference sources.
